Outdoors

Here lies David and Tisha Johnson's most humblest of gardens. I think we have watermelon, carrots, daisys, zinnas, some herbs and of course tomatoes growing. I don't really know exacatly what we have because we didn't take the time to label them. We love watching the little sprout grow!!!

Friday David and I head up to the mountains with David's mom Dawn and the three youngest. We drove up to Lake Cascade and drove all around the the lake looking for a campsite that wasn't soggy or had snow in it. We finally found one. It was freezing. I think David was asleep before 9pm. The only warm place was our sleeping bags. We did walk down to the lake. Arianna and I saw a freaky huge ant hill. It was Indian Jones worthy. It was about 3 feet high and cover with big red and black ants. It was pretty crazy it gave my whole body the wiggles. We woke up Saturday morning to more coldness - so we quickly packed our bags and headed for the nearest McD's for breakfast! Ya- right in Cascade?! HA We went to the only sort of fast food place they had -subway. We had subs for breakfast! It was great and healthy! Well that makes for our first camping trip! More to come the SUMMER of 2008!

SuMmeR TiMe!!

Wow! I can not believe this day has come! I am sitting at home on a Thursday morning! It is a fabulous feeling being done with school. Last night as I went to bed I literally could breath deeper. I never realize how much I thought about my classes/students. I am very elated to be done! I have big plans for the summer - paint my ugly wall, read Rough Stone Rolling, exercise, scrapbook, camp, get a nice tan, and relax and not think about school for at least 2 whole months. It is times like these that I love being a teacher!
