Hey Guys! It's David here, I was just noticing that it sure has been awhile since I last wrote...so here goes! Well since th etopic of food storage is such a popular one these days I thought I would post a picture of our awesome food storage start up :O) this is a picture of what used to be our hallway :PFYI those are twinkies
that's about 1200 boxes of golden cakey creamy goodness, it should last until the millennium...what, with all the preservative in them :O)
And here is our 72 hour kits :O)yep...that's all I need If I'm stuck in our apartment for 3 days... :P
And here is our lastest project that we've been working on, in what little downtime we do have:
it's just a little addition to the old homestead :O) -Should be ready around 2012
So yeah...we've been a little busy, but we manage to find time between school, and work, and church.
Now on to real news!
My sister Danielle finally came home from her mission! YEA! She is almost completely normal again :) She speaks spanish now, which is weird, I find myself wanting to call her and ask her to trim our bushes...ok that might be a low class joke, but I couldn't help it!
Oh and I totally Aced my Politcal Science test! for everyone who did know (which is everyone) I totaly bombed my last Poli-Sci test -69.5%!!!! OUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (in my defense i also had mono when he was going over the material for that test!)
BUT! on this last test I got a 91% talk about an improvement! which brings my final GPA right now to about a 3.7 -so yeah I'm pretty happy about that!
Oh and the Office started back up this week -Sometimes God does answer unimportant prayers lol-
Oh and here is our garden...it has watermelon, basil, oregano, cilantro, serrano peppers, green bell peppers, tomatoes, chives, onions, and some flowers...We are testing to see if we havea green thumb...pray for us!

ok David- I think you are funny. How does it feel to be thought of...and to be funny?
Twinkies!!!!!!!! I need twinkies not wheat! What was I thinking? WHo wants to grind wheat all day anyway- the twinkie boxes would be good fire starters in case there isn't any heat...
I've been waiting for this day - an update! Hooray! Twinkies sound good about now - the afternoon slump... need a sugar jump start. You guys are very brave - I need to think of a garden... hmmm... hadn't thought to do it indoors. Way to go guys! Congrats on your test.
I know that you could live for 3 days off your 72 hr kit, but what would Tisha's look like? :)
thanks April...I am glad that at I am thought of, and That I am Funny...It warms the heart :O)
Just looked at the pictures. Wow - looks like fun. Sure wish I had a $100 - BIG MONEY! I'm lucky if I have any green in my wallet - I don't run around with cash...
I think tisha might just look like a frazzled WRECK! That's why her 72 hour kit is filled with chocolate and bread and butter...oh and chips and salsa
oh that $100 bill came form the guy that hit my dads truck when we were in it on the highway, my dad gave it to us and we spent it on groceries but we thought he had better take a picture to remember it by :O)
Glad you guys had the best month ever and are alive! The homestead is looking good. I love you garden! It reminds me to start my own!
